This May and June members of All Saints' Cheadle Hulme are joining with fellow Christians in a global prayer movement called Thy Kingdom Come.
What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer. This year churches from over 65 different denominations in 114 countries around the world will be joining in. The theme for 2019 is Light Up The World
There are lots of resources and videos on the Thy Kingdom Come website to help you pray as a church, as an individual or in your family.
There are also two new apps for smartphone and tablet users which offer daily prayers and reflections. One produced by Thy Kingdom Come (Download on Apple: http://ow.ly/yqi650upPjR Download on Google Play: http://ow.ly/iKcp50upPq6) and one by the Church of England.
In the Chester Diocese there are a number of events taking place.
At All Saints' we will be using the Novena produced by the Diocese of Canterbury. Copies of the Novena booklet are available from the table at the back of the church or by contacting Rev Janet.
