We're holding our Harvest Festival on Sunday 13 October. Our family, all-age service will start slightly later than usual at 10.30 am and that will be followed by a harvest lunch at the Parish Rooms across the road.
Food collection
As part of the harvest, we like to share the food we have with those who need a helping hand. Please bring non-perishable goods (tinned food of all sorts, cereals, tea, coffee, jams) and toiletries for the Chelwood Foodbank. You can drop these off at church in the weeks leading up to harvest or bring them to the service on Sunday 13th. If you would like to donate fresh produce (fruit and veg) then please bring this on the day and it will go to St Ann's Hospice.
Harvest Lunch
Come and join us after the service for a hearty, two-course lunch at the All Saints' Parish Rooms (just across the road from church). This is a fundraiser for our local and regional charities of the year, Beacon Counselling, Mustard Tree and the Stockport Women's Centre. The more the merrier, so do bring family and friends!
The main course is Farmhouse chicken pie, and a vegetarian option will be available. This will be followed by dessert.
Soft drinks will be provided, but you can bring your own beer or wine.
Tickets are just £10 for adults, £5 for 5 to 18 year olds and under 5s are free.
Places are limited. To book please email Margaret or call her on 0161 488 4512.
