Here is a list of our planned Easter services and events for April 2020.

THESE HAVE NOW BEEN SUSPENDED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Palm Sunday - Sunday 5 April

10 am Palm crosses will be handed out to everyone at our All-Age communion service when we remember Jesus riding into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey.
6.30 pm Evensong and distribution of palm crosses

Maundy Thursday - Thursday 9 April

7.30 pm A service full of drama and symbolism. Jesus' washing of the disciples' feet is re-enacted and we remember his last supper with his disciples. We also strip our church altars of their coverings.

Good Friday - Friday 10 April

12 noon Three hours of devotion and meditation as we symbolically place ourselves before the cross and remember Jesus' final hours. Stay for the whole service or come for one of the hours.

Holy Saturday - Saturday 11 April

11 am Churches Together in Cheadle Hulme Easter Celebration on the green outside Cheadle Hulme Methodist Church, Station Road. Followed by coffee/tea and hot cross buns!

Easter Day - Sunday 12 April

8 am Holy Communion (BCP)
10 am Parish Communion A joyful day! The church is transformed as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
6.30 pm Sung Evensong
