Inspired by the words of the popular Wesley Advent hymn, 'Come thou long-expected Jesus' this course explores the themes of Advent.

Come, thou long expected Jesus,
born to set thy people free;
from our fears and sins release us,
let us find our rest in thee.

It's a journey through Scripture that spans the centuries and many a prophecy that would bring hope to a people in distress We also look forward to a time yet to come, when Christ will return.

The course will be on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 pm in the run-up to Christmas (30 Nov, 7 Dec, 14 Dec and 21 Dec). Please join us at the Vicarage for this friendly and informal discussion group.
